He was born and raised in Agrinio. He is married and has two children. He studied mechanical engineering and works as a bank employee.

He has been involved in philately since the age of six, when his uncle, his mother's brother, signed him up as a permanent subscriber to the Hellenic Posts.
He is a member of the Philatelic Society of Agrinio and its President since 2011. He has participated as an exhibitor in national and international exhibitions with exhibits concerning the postal history of Aitoloakarnania from 1830 to the modern era.
